Challenges from Trump's Presence
McIlroy stated, "This will be a different experience, but we are here to play a golf tournament and we have a great golf course. We just need to focus and play." The ۳۷-year-old golfer noted the beauty of Trump's resort in Doonbeg and mentioned that this will be his first time visiting there.
Trump's presence may lead to increased security measures, which in turn could affect the number of spectators. McIlroy also pointed out that "weekend days, especially when he is here, will feel different" and this could result in crowd limitations.

McIlroy, who is one of only six golfers in history to have won all four major golf titles, further stated that while these challenges are significant, ultimately if Trump wants to come watch the event, they cannot turn him away.
